Join us for our spring program on Wildlife Diseases in PA.

Samara Trusso, Pennsylvania Game Commission Wildlife Management Supervisor , will discuss diseases having an effect on Pennsylvania wildlife on Friday March 13th at 7 pm at Blue Spruce Lodge, Blue Spruce Park. Ms. Trusso will provide an overview of some wildlife diseases that affect birds and mammals of PA. Included will be chronic wasting disease (CWD), epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD) in deer, as well as rabies and distemper which affect mammals,  including pets). Also included will be a brief discussion of avian pox (which can infect songbirds and turkeys) in addition to the West Nile virus in grouse.

This program, sponsored by Evergreen Conservancy, is free, open to the public and family friendly.
